I had a similar problem with R-studio. When I tried to do my plots, this message was showing up. Eventually I realised that the reason behind this was that my "window" for the plots was too small, and I had to make it bigger to "fit" all the plots inside!

@hypia I think the issue is that you're not referencing the data frame in the call to hist().Try hist(mydata$employ)` instead and see if that works.

Check your spelling and make sure it is the same in both cases. Used copy and paste if needed to get it right. Check to make sure that you have actually defined the object.
