Since this firewall blocks incoming connections you may need open a port through it for certain games and applications. This process of opening a port is frequently called a port forward, since you are forwarding a port from the internet to your home network.

Replaced thew Time-Warner Ubee modem and my Belkin wi-Wi Router with this one unit. Even though not a Time-Warner supplied unit, their tech support was great in helping me get it set up properly, by renaming the connection ID and password. Works great. Use it with my laptop, smart phones and tablet at the same time, no problems. Great unit.
