Lisheen is comprised by underground mining and a 6kt/d ore concentrator. The primary mining methods adopted at Lisheen were room-and-pillar and drift-and-fill, with blast hole stoping used in thicker areas of the deposit. The concentrator used sequential flotation and operated 365 days a year at a capacity of around 5,000tpd.
