Found the 1" diameter crankshaft worn about .004" in way of flywheels. Flywheel bores also worn about .005". Tapered gib keys 'cocked' flywheels when inserted so wobble was quite pronounced at the rims. Took it to a fellow engine collector with a crankshaft grinder. He welded with 7018 welding rod then put in lathe to turn close to finish diameter.

How f-ed is the crank, it may be able to be ground and rechromed back up to 030 or somthing, real good crank shops can do this well. durability wise winston cup ( never nextel) guys use honda 1.88 journals on billet cranks. small chevy journals are 2.00 so it has been done, not 434 cubic inches mind you.
