Lesco made the best lawn and turf products in the greens industry years back. Not sure what's happened to the formulation, but it's not the same. Too many non-valued items added, weeds everywhere. This is the last time I will buy the winter application.

Spreader Dial/Settings. I opened these spreaders approximately 75% to their max. That means about 7.5 on the Spyker (out of 10) and 22.5 on the Lesco (out of 30). The Spyker spreader has one opening and a single gate that slides open/closed. The dial clicks 1-10, and in between each number the dial clicks 10 times.

Is the fertilizer 19-0-6 with Dimension Crabgrass preventer? That make a big difference. I don't know of a 19-0-6 product from Lesco without Dimension. Go to the Lesco.com site and on the left side of the window you will see Spreader Settings. The Scott's 3000 is listed.

This is a tricky question since there are different kind of scott spreaders and the lesco products doesn't list the settings for all of the scott's spreaders. I use the standard Scott spreader.
