Gold Rush Whitewater chronologically fits in I think after season 3 or 4 of Gold Rush but I really didn't lose much by watching it first. I was just able to go "aha!" or "that's why they feel that way" when watching Gold Rush, but it wasn't anything major. There really aren't many tie-ins between all the shows at all.
