In view of the above problems, a novel method for extracting gold from refractory gold concentrate calcine through stepwise extraction by thiourea leaching is proposed in this paper, with its conceptual flow-sheet shown in Fig. 1.During the first leaching stage, the consumption of thiourea can be effectively decreased by adding suitable additives into thiourea solution.
